Great place to watch the Perseid meteor showers at night, not a lot of light pollution here. Oh, you don't like stamp sand? Lake Superior too cold? You know what we say here: if you don't like the weather in the U.P. wait five minutes, then go back where you came from. :P
Eh, don't come here often in the summer because Lake Superior is ice cold most of the time
